Pakistan continues to impose 18.57% anti-dumping duty on China related single-sided coated double-layer paperboard

On November 3, 2022, the Tariff Commission of Pakistan issued Announcement ADC43/2016/NTC/CDB/SSR/2022, making the first affirmative final judgment of sunset review on one sided coated duplex board (grey bottom) which is originally produced or imported from China, Indonesia and South Korea and weighs between 225g and 400g, and deciding to continue to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved, of which 18.57% are from China 16.22% in Indonesia and 14.98% in South Korea. The measures will come into force on May 12, 2022, and will be valid for five years. The Pakistani tax numbers of the products involved are 4810.9200 and 4810.9900.

On January 30, 2016, the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan launched an anti-dumping investigation against the single-sided coated double-layer (grey bottom) paperboard originating in or imported from China, Indonesia and South Korea. On July 29, 2017, the National Customs Commission of Pakistan made a final affirmative determination on the case, deciding to impose 18.57% anti-dumping duty on Chinese products, 16.22% anti-dumping duty on Indonesia, and 14.98% anti-dumping duty on South Korea based on C&F. The measures came into effect on May 12, 2017, and the period of validity is five years. On April 27, 2022, the National Tariff Commission of Pakistan launched the first sunset review investigation of the case.
