Clothing, shoes and hats: the epidemic is in the peak season of sales, with offline channels accounting for more than 80%, with a large negative impact. In particular, some pessimists think that brand clothing revenue will fall 7.2% year on year in 2020;
Daily chemical products: weak optional consumption attribute, high proportion of online channels and small negative impact.
As far as the current situation is concerned, the demand side of packaging paper is bound to shrink, but the contraction of demand mainly lies in the reduction of offline consumption. Express delivery for online consumption as well as the supplement of medical and productive materials are all generating new demand for paper packaging.
Looking back at the SARS period in 2003, it is an important time point for China’s e-commerce giants. In the new time point, when the epidemic is over, the explosive growth of online shopping and tens of billions of express packages will inject new vitality into China’s packaging industry.
