According to the net sales of pulp, paper, processing and Trading (PPCM) business of enterprises in 2020 (some enterprises are in fiscal year), the latest issue of American paper360 magazine published the latest list of the top 75 in the global paper industry.
The top 10 enterprises are international paper, P & G and westrock of the United States, Oji of Japan, Smurfit Kappa of Ireland, Kimberly Clark of the United States, UPM of Finland, Nippon paper of Japan, essity of Sweden and Stora Enso of Finland.
Mantan paper sorted out the list and found that in 2020, 13 Chinese enterprises entered the global top 100 and 9 enterprises entered the global top 50. The ranking of seven Chinese enterprises has improved over the previous year.
Nine Dragons Paper continues to rank first among Chinese enterprises, with an operating revenue of US $7439.9 million in 2020, a year-on-year decrease of 6.1%! The operating revenue of seven Chinese enterprises decreased year-on-year in 2019. The biggest decline was yongfengyu.
The report also published a list of 30 paper and paperboard enterprises with an output (capacity) of more than 2 million tons in the world. The international paper industry ranked first, and Nine Dragons Paper and westrock ranked second and third. Liwen paper and Chenming paper have entered the top ten in the world in terms of paper and paperboard output, ranking ninth and tenth respectively. There are also five Chinese enterprises on the list, followed by Shanying international, sun paper, Rongcheng, yongfengyu and Huatai Paper.
