Stora Enso has completed a joint decision to close its Swedish kvarnseden plant, which was announced in early April. The company said the plant’s pulp and paper production will be closed permanently by the end of the third quarter of this year. At the same time, it will continue to produce super calendering paper at langburg plant in Belgium and marksaw factory in Germany, and newsprint at Angela plant in Finland. Its Saxony plant in ellenburg, Germany, will also continue to produce and sell newsprint, which is sold to model group. Model group will transfer cardboard within 18 months after the end of the transaction.
