In 2020, the proportion of wood and paper products in Russian export trade volume was 3.7%, up 0.7%. But the annual export of wood and paper products decreased by 3.3%, while the export volume increased by 1.6%.
Combined with the analysis of the customs office of the Russian Federation and the Russian macroeconomic analysis and short-term forecast center, the decline in Russian exports has slowed down, excluding seasonal factors. The center for macroeconomic analysis and short-term prediction predicts that Russian export trade will resume growth in the first half of 2021.
