Ilim group, a Russian pulp, paper and corrugated packaging manufacturer, is becoming a major market player in Southwest China. The large group company, which supplies softwood pulp to China, has signed an agreement with Xiamen Jianfa Paper Co., Ltd., one of its main partners, to supply base paper and pulp to the southwest provinces through the silk road. Under the agreement, pulp will be supplied to Chongqing, as well as paper mills in Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan and Guangxi provinces.

At present, Southwest China’s industrial development is active, and the real disposable income of the population is increasing, with a total population of 246 million, accounting for 18% of China’s total population. In Russia, Ilim group has three largest pulp and paper mills and two modern corrugated box factories.
