Pregis, a packaging paper company, will invest more than US $14 million to build a new packaging paper factory in Atlanta to support the packaging demand brought by the growth of e-commerce in the southeast.
The new packaging paper plant, located in McDonough and covering an area of about 298000 feet, will mainly produce paper protective packaging. Recently, with the growth of packaging paper demand, Pregis has made frequent actions. It has just announced the establishment of two manufacturing plants in Texas.
The new packaging paper plant will mainly produce evertec ™ Brand packaging, all of which adopt light and recyclable paper buffer structure. It is expected that about 80 jobs will be created after the completion of the new factory, and there is still room to continue to expand production and employment opportunities in the future.
