Vietnam imports over 500000 tons of pulp annually, but at the same time exports over 15 million tons of wood chips used in pulp production. Dang Van Son said, “Addressing the shortage of raw materials is one of the key factors in the development of the pulp and paper industry. The government should encourage the use of modern technology to invest in pulp production and ensure environmental protection.
