Jingxing paper Malaysia 1.4 million ton pulp and paper project has resumed construction and is striving to enter commissioning by the end of the year

On August 18, Jingxing paper disclosed the progress of project construction in Malaysia on the investor relations platform. Jingxing paper said that the application for resumption of work of the company’s Malaysian project has been approved by the government and construction has been resumed.

Statistics show that the 1.4 million ton pulp and paper project in Malaysia is one of the major projects under construction by Jingxing paper.

In early March this year, Jingxing paper disclosed that the approval of phase I 800000 tons of waste pulp and phase II 600000 tons of finished paper projects in Malaysia has been completed, and phase III projects have also been reserved. Novel coronavirus pneumonia was originally planned for the two or three quarter of this year, but approval of the project was affected by the new crown pneumonia epidemic. Phase I project is undertaken by China Construction Third Engineering Bureau and is currently under construction. If the epidemic situation improves in the later stage, the company will strive to enter the commissioning stage of the recycled pulp project at the end of the year.

The promotion of the Malaysian project has solved the problem of future raw materials of Jingxing paper, and can break through the capacity expansion restrictions caused by environmental protection policies and insufficient raw materials, which provides a very favorable basis for the company’s next capacity expansion planning.
