HP’s pagewide C500 printing machine is a digital back printing solution for corrugated paper, which enables corrugated paper processors to reduce the cost of large-scale production of cartons. Water based ink and new nozzle make HP C500 suitable for various packaging applications. It provides offset quality, suitable for various corrugated paper packaging applications, whether in coated paper or uncoated paper, can use water-based ink, suitable for small batch to large order.
It has a natural resolution of 1200 nozzles and 6pl droplets per inch and is printed at a linear speed of 75m/min. BHS
BHS has been working with screen companies to develop a corrugated water-based inkjet technology that will be sold under the name of RSR, that is, “real time volume to sheet printing.”.
The system is designed to be used with tile line, and can be printed at a speed of up to 300m/min, with a printing width of 2.8m. The base materials for both copper and non copper paper can be sold.
Koenig & Bauer
Corejet 170 was developed by Koenig & Bauer and durst as a system for digital back printing on corrugated board. With the water-based CMYK ink set, corrujet can be printed again at a speed of 6000sph with a resolution of 1200 x 600dpi.
Delta SPC 130 flexline offers up to six colors, with a maximum printed board size of 2.8 x 1.3m. The resolution of 800 x 600dpi and 600 x 600dpi can achieve the maximum printing speed of 80m/min and 120m/min. The printer uses durst’s water-based technology, which has been certified for primary and secondary food packaging applications.
Domino
Domino released x630i, which can support up to 1.6 x 3m paper, and the iTech inkjet platform with a printing format of 1346mm domino uses a Beijing porcelain nozzle with a resolution of 600dpi.
ITech is a module for ink optimization and conditioning, automatic sewing of nozzles, and automatic cleaning and capping of nozzles. The printer is designed to be relatively compact and can still withstand 11.5m in length. Domino ink is based on a novel water-based ink technology, marked aq95 I-TECH polym. Ink is colored and contains polymer components, which can be printed on a variety of substrates.
