Recently, the relevant transaction announcement shows that green fin investments B.V., a subsidiary of Warburg Pincus, a leading private equity investment company in the world, has acquired a controlling stake in Parkson Packaging Co., Ltd., once again lighting the flames of competition in the Indian packaging market.
“The capital quest” magazine reported that companies participating in the Parkson packaging competition also included private KKR, Bain Capital and Finnish packaging material giant Huhtamaki Oyj, and Warburg Pincus won.
As part of the deal, existing shareholders keeara capital olza holdings and iifl have completely withdrawn from their investment in yum, while the founder kejriwal family has sold some of their shares. Ramesh kejriwal, Siddharth kejriwal and Chaitanya kejriwal will continue to serve as chairman, managing director and co managing director.
