According to foreign media reports, graphic packaging company was approved to acquire ar packaging company. The acquisition of AR packaging will strengthen Graphic Packaging’s position in the European market.

Graphic packaging said it had received all required regulatory approvals pending the acquisition of AR packaging group. The transaction is expected to be completed in early November 2021, provided that the remaining conventional closing conditions specified in the acquisition agreement are met.
Ar packaging is considered to be the second largest consumer packaging manufacturer of fiber products in Europe. Graphic packaging announced on May 14, 2021 that it intends to acquire ar packaging group with about US $1.45 billion in cash, and the price needs to be adjusted according to practice.
