Australia initiated the investigation of double anti interim review of A4 paper related to China

On April 16, 2020, the Australian antidumping Commission issued announcement No. 2020 / 039, stating that, at the application submitted by the Australian enterprise paper Australia Pty Ltd, it will start the mid-term review and filing investigation on A4 copy paper imported from Brazil, China, Indonesia and Thailand and the mid-term review and filing investigation on A4 copy paper imported from China. The review survey does not include pt.indah Kiat pump & paper TBK, pt.pabrik kertas tjiwi Kimia TBK and Pt. Pindo Deli pump & paper mills. The dumping investigation period of this case is from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019. The Australian customs codes of the products involved are 4802.56.10.03 and 4802.56.10.09.
Relevant materials shall be submitted by stakeholders before May 23, 2020.
On April 12, 2016, the Australian antidumping Committee issued announcement 2016 / 033, in response to the application of the Australian enterprise paper Australia Pty Ltd, it decided to conduct antidumping investigation on A4 copy paper imported from Brazil, China, Indonesia and Thailand, as well as anti subsidy investigation on A4 copy paper imported from China and Indonesia. On September 29, 2016, the Australian antidumping Commission issued announcement No. 2016 / 100, making the first partial dual preliminary anti-dumping judgment on A4 copy paper imported from Brazil, China, Indonesia and Thailand. On November 4, 2016 and December 19, 2016, the Australian anti dumping Commission made the second and third partial preliminary anti-dumping determinations respectively.
On March 17, 2017, the Australian antidumping Commission issued announcement No. 2017 / 34 to terminate the antidumping investigation on tjiwi Kimia TBK, an Indonesian enterprise involved, and to terminate the antidumping investigation on fenowichuan (China) Co., Ltd., fenowichuan Asia Pacific and all Indonesian enterprises involved, including Pt Indah Kiat pump & paper TBK, Pt Pindo Deli pulpand paper mills and Pt Pindo Deli pulpand paper mills Countervailing investigations by pabrik kertas, tjiwi Kimia TBK and Riau andalan kertas. On April 18, 2017, the Australian anti dumping Commission issued announcement 2017 / 51 to terminate the anti subsidy investigation against China Asia Pacific Senbo (Guangdong) Paper Co., Ltd. and Greenpoint Global Trading (Macau Commercial Offshore) Ltd. On April 19, 2017, the Australian antidumping Committee issued announcement 2017 / 39 and announcement 2017 / 40. The assistant minister and Secretary of Parliament of the Australian Ministry of industry, innovation and science adopted the final antidumping and countervailing recommendation of the Australian antidumping Committee on A4 copy paper imported from China, Brazil, Indonesia and Thailand, and decided to impose a final judgment on Brazil, China and Indonesia Asia (except Pt. Pabrik kertas tjiwi Kimia TBK) imposed antidumping duties on the products involved in the case; the countervailing rate was 7.0% for the enterprises involved in the case in China, and at the same time, Asia symbol (Guangdong) Paper Co. was terminated, Ltd.), Greenpoint Global Trading (Macau Commercial Offshore) Ltd., UPM (China) Co., Ltd. and UPM Asia Pacific Pte Ltd.
On March 12, 2020, Australia launched mid-term anti-dumping review on A4 copy paper imported from Indonesia, among which Pt. Indah Kiat pump & paper TBK and Pt Pindo Deli pump & paper mills were involved.
