Plug wrap paper is used for wrapping the inner acetate tow /PP Tow of cigarette filter, used filtering nicotine, tar, carbon monoxide and other harm substances as much as possible. For buying the right kind of plug wrap paper, one must consider the permeability range of the highly porous plug wrap papers as one of their most important properties. In addition to this, other properties such as mass (gsm), breaking length, opacity and texture should also be considered. Most papers are naturally porous, their pores occur during paper sheet formation. Even if a large part of the nicotine contained in cigarettes is destroyed during burning, the remaining quantity is harmful enough to smokers and second hand smokers. The nicotine and tar present in smoke can be controlled by filter and papers. Our constant endeavour is to find techniques for increasing the permeability range and decreasing the nicotine range.

– Non-porous to 2000-32000 CU high porosity
– Types – Regular, crepe corrugated and functional.

Plug wrap paper has a fine texture and high surface strength. Crepe corrugated plug wrap paper has attractive corrugation providing a stable smoking resistance, which is the best choice for lowering harmful effect of cigarettes.

High porosity plug wrap paper combining with tipping paper perforation can increase inhaled air quantity during smoking and reduce harmful ingredients such as tar and carbon monoxide in the smoke, as a result of dilution of cigarette smoke. For enhanced smoking flavour and reducing tar content, functional plug wrap paper can be used.
