Nine Dragons Paper announced new investments in two paper mills in the United States
In October and August, NDPAPER, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nine Dragons Paper in the United States, announced that it would make new investments in two factories in Rumford and Biron to upgrade its production capacity and products through upgrading its equipment.
Rumford’s investment includes:
R9 Pulpboard machine will be shut down in the first quarter of 2020 to improve pulp output.
The R10 paper machine will be shut down in late March 2020 to install new headbox, boot press and forming unit to improve production capacity and efficiency.
The R12 paper machine converts the existing printing and writing paper into special packaging paper.
The R15 paper machine will shut down in the summer of 2020 and install a new boot press.
